Good Times in Greenville

Greetings! We spent a phenomenal weekend in Greenville, SC. It’s a vibrant city on the move. Leaders of the downtown area have really worked hard to create a variety of offerings for residents and tourists. Both sets of folks are taking advantage. The city was flowing with people out and about over the weekend. We really enjoyed the TD Saturday Market. We spent time in three of the museums on the Museum Green, all of which were very good.

Helen, my mother-in-law, has long raved about the Reedy River Walk. She may have understated its splendor.  The well-maintained pathway moves along the river and gorgeous falls. It a fantastic place for a walk, run, bike ride or to cool off in water fountains. Masses of people were out doing all the above. The River Walk also has numerous areas to sit and contemplate.  Restaurants and shops are available to add to an outing to the area. It’s a real jewel in the heart of Greenville.

Go to Greenville. Run.
